  Truck-drivers & Side Dump Drivers                                                                             

Summary

TRUCK DRIVER/ SIDE DUMP positions are available out of our West Valley City, Utah office, and will cover projects in the surrounding area. Seeking drivers who are experienced, compliant with FMCSA/DOT regulations and safely operate while working in high traffic and construction area sites.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up goods and materials from various sites
• Verify load for accuracy, deliver as instructed and unload cargo
• Understand and follow navigation system
• Provide safe driving operations on roadways in the general public and jobsite area

Qualifications

• 2 years working experience as a truck-driver
• Hold current Class A CDL and medical card
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and daily inspections
• Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures
• Maintain clear communication with staff and project team members
• Compliant with DOT regulations and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration and query consent
• Provide a clean motor vehicle driving record
• Successfully pass a DOT drug screen

Working Conditions

• Travel – This project is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
• Schedule – Work assignment will be typical weekdays, occasional weekends and the possibility for night shift operations
• Construction Site Environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects.
• Exposed to high noise levels and rough terrain.
