Job Description

Schedule is Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (being on time to work is a must as many events start promptly at 8:00 am and guests will be locked outside with no way to enter the building)

This is an On-Site, permanent position (not remote)

Responsibilities

  • This job requires the ability to multitask, make simple judgment calls, and follow up with employees and visitors.
  • Is the welcoming face of Myriad Genetics by greeting visitors and guests as they arrive on campus
  • Assisting with door access control badging system (Pinnacle) and issuing badges to new employees.
  • Assisting with OfficeSpace software
  • Assists Facility Manager Preventative Maintenance software
  • Receive and distribute deliveries that arrive or are called into Front Reception Desk
  • Coordinates with facilities team and orders all sanitary and janitorial products for campus
  • Works with Facility Manager and keeps track of (logs) all physical keys for buildings access
  • Ensuring all guests are logged into Visitor Registration system and have access to WiFi systems
  • Coordinates with Facilities vendors to ensure insurance certificates are up to date
  • Occasionally sorts and distributes mail for departments
  • Organizes and coordinates Forkable lunch deliveries
  • Runs door access reports for quarterly Hi-Trust security audits
  • Ability to effectively communicate effectively with management, employees, and visitors.
  • Experience in the use of computers and software applications to support facilities teams.
  • Checks in and stores luggage for out-of-town guests who arrive to campus during large meeting events

Qualifications

  • The qualified candidate must have excellent phone and organizational skills, have an excellent attendance work record, and be able to work well under pressure.
  • Candidates must possess professional human relations skills and have at least one year of receptionist experience.
  • Requires High School Diploma with at least one year of receptionist exp.
  • Requires a high level of communication skills with the ability to inform visitors of company policy.
  • Basic computer skills are required with knowledge of Microsoft, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

Physical & Lifting Requirements

  • Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating and observing.
  • Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
