WORK SHIFT

DAY (United States of America)

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Coordinates and performs onsite calibration on machines and equipment per established schedule and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Coordinates and performs inhouse on-site calibration on equipment on the production floor. This includes scales, molding equipment, production assembly machines, etc.
2. Troubleshoots issues that arise during the calibration process.
3. Reviews electronically saved calibration certificates and/or reports.
4. Reviews and closes completed calibration work orders performed by technicians.
5. Creates calibration data forms when required.
6. Generates calibration schedules on a timely basis and notifies internal and external customers.
7. Interfaces with contracted lab services to schedule on-site calibration.
8. Obtains quotes, creates purchase orders, and generates packing slips for sending equipment out for calibration.
9. Follows-up with equipment owner on scheduled calibration.
10. Follows-up on BMRAM NCR to ensure timely closure.
11. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Education equivalent to a High School diploma with a minimum of five years of calibration or industry related experience, such as QA or Maintenance Technician; or Associates degree in a technical field with three years of calibration experience.
* Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to analytically evaluate and solve problems.

* Ability to work well as a team member.
* Documentation and record keeping skills.
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
* Familiar with ISO 13485 Clause 7.6 and or FDA-CFR
