JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Manager, Inventory Control position leads a team to review and improve inventory management throughout Vivint Supply Chain, including field support. This role is a strategic position that requires the ability to understand different department metrics and work with leadership throughout the company to identify critical challenges and cost saving opportunities with regards to managing inventory loss risk. The Senior Manager is expected to report on key metrics including lost inventory, equipment spend, and inventory stock-outs, and provide feedback on improvement opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Report on inventory impact to Vivint for lost, damaged, and obsolete/at-risk inventory.
  • Responsible for schedule/execution of corporate inventory audit process. This includes inventory, assets, and field equipment.
  • Manage a team that supports 3000+ field professionals with inventory issues/corrections, as needed.
  • Lead strategic projects/initiatives for better inventory management processes to reduce risk.
  • Identify impacting factors for key budget areas. Provide analysis/update recommendations for New Hire Training, Departmental SOP, andCorporate Policies, where applicable for improvement opportunities to budget management.
  • Develop strategic cross-departmental partnerships for better understanding and management of processes impacting inventory, assets, and equipment losses for the company.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to work well with others and to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Capability to learn new software, and troubleshoot system problems
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and provide a quick turnaround on reported issues
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage through ambiguity to create a strategic vision and drive results
  • Ability to respond to a large volume of issues and concerns daily, while still making progress on strategic initiatives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain positions, including Inventory Management, Cycle-Counting and/or Warehousing.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, and/or Supply Chain software systems.
  • Working knowledge with the following programs: Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint), Tableau, SAP, SQL
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
