The Permit Specialist is responsible for:

  • Obtaining all alarm/electrical permits for customers in required areas.
  • Ensuring inspections are completed when necessary.
  • Researching state, and city requirements to ensure the company is compliant with all permit-related ordinances.
  • Performing regular audits and analyses to maintain accurate compliance records.
  • Answered incoming phone calls from various state and local government officials, Vivint customers, and members of other teams within the company.

What we're looking for:

  • This job involves regular and recurring work situations of a low to moderate level of complexity.
  • The individual in this position must have excellent people skills with a high level of patience in dealing with all people they come in contact.
  • This position operates from general guidelines and directions; the individual will receive a minimal level of supervision.

Education:

  • Some college preferred, but not required.
  • Smart Home or Solar compliance experience preferred, but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
