What do our Part-Time Seasonal Aerial Mechanic's Helper's do?

Aerial Mechanic's Helper aid in the performance of inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance on VDCI's growing fleet of aircraft to gain the required experience to obtain an A&P license.

This position pays at $20.00 per hour, and has a work schedule of 8:00 am - 4:00 PM, some evenings and weekends.

• Follow all policies and procedures
• Keep a clean and orderly work environment
• Perform job duties in a safe manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Is willing to do what it takes to get the job done with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a constant focus on safety and quality

What do you need?

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Have proficient writing and verbal skills
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• The work requires strenuous physical exertion and the employee may be required to drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time, as well as see, talk, hear and use hands and arms to grasp, handle, reach and feel.
• Must comply with part 91 and 137 regulations
• Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
• Must possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search
