Preferred candidate will have at least 5 or more years of experience in removing, installing, and servicing commercial signs. Sign fabrication a big plus.

The environment for this position is a mix of shop and field work, including use of various tools, machinery, and construction equipment. Occasional travel may be required.

Fundamental Job Requirements

• Must possess a valid UT driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass random drug testing.
• Ability read, understand, and follow work order instructions.
• Advance knowledge and use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work at heights including on ladders and aerial lifts.
• Team oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Quality, accuracy, and detail focused with the ability to problem solve.
• Positive and professional attitude, clean attire, strong communication skills.
• Install various types of commercial signage, including channel letters, pylons, monuments, vinyl, ect.
• Experience conducting site surveys - obtaining photos and measurements, evaluating accessibility, taking inventory of existing signage is a plus.
• CDL and or experience running a crane is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years commercial sign installation experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Understand verbal and written communication in English.
• Attention to detail with quality mindset.
• Ability to work at ground level and at heights from ladders, scissor, or boom lifts and in various weather conditions.
• Motivated self-starter and team player, for most installs you will be working with another team member.
• Pay range: $25-32/hour depending on experience.

Additional Information about this position:

• We are looking for someone who can provide leadership in the field, assist with training and coaching of apprentice level installers
• Use of company vehicle is provide to/from job sites, and this position is eligible for paid time off and holidays and sick pay.
• Installers are expected to provide their own hand tools and common cordless power tools.
• Specialty hand/power tools will be company provided.
• OSHA 10 or 30, electrical and welding skills are a plus.
• Work schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm. On rare occasions, Saturday or night work may be required to get a project done.
• From time to time, out-of-town installations requiring over-night stays will be required. Educational opportunities may also become available requiring travel. Sufficient notice will be given for such assignments. Travel time will be paid at the standard hourly rate. Lodging will be arranged and paid by the company.
