We are seeking a talented Application Engineer with expertise in Mobile Device Management (MDM), JAMF Pro, and Microsoft 365 (M365) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting application deployment and management solutions for our organization's Apple device ecosystem, leveraging MDM and M365 technologies. This role requires a strong background in application engineering, MDM administration, and proficiency in JAMF Pro and M365 platforms.

What you'll be doing

    Design and implement application deployment and management solutions for macOS and iOS devices using JAMF Pro and Microsoft 365, ensuring seamless provisioning and maintenance of software across the organization.
  • Configure and maintain MDM solutions, such as Microsoft Intune or VMware Workspace ONE, to manage device settings, security policies, and application distribution for Apple devices.
  • Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and end-users to gather requirements, assess needs, and develop efficient and reliable application workflows that leverage MDM and M365 capabilities.
  • Integrate MDM solutions with JAMF Pro and M365, ensuring interoperability and consistency in application deployment and management workflows.
  • Develop custom scripts and automation workflows to streamline application deployment processes, leveraging tools such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for application-related issues, diagnosing and resolving complex problems to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in application deployment, MDM, JAMF Pro, and M365, recommending and implementing improvements and enhancements as needed.
  • Document application deployment configurations, procedures, and best practices, providing training and knowledge transfer to other team members as needed.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Application Engineer or similar role, with a focus on application deployment and management for macOS and iOS devices.
  • Strong proficiency in macOS and iOS platforms, including deployment, configuration, and management.
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or other MDM platforms.
  • Proficiency in JAMF Pro for Apple device management, including design, implementation, and maintenance of JAMF Pro infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 platform, including Office 365 applications, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Microsoft Power Automate for automation and customization of application deployment workflows.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface with stakeholders at all levels.
  • JAMF certifications (e.g., JAMF Certified Associate, JAMF Certified Technician) and Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) preferred.
  • Experience with software packaging and distribution tools (e.g., pkgutil, Composer, AutoPkg) is a plus.

Salary Range
$72000.00 To $111000.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
