Position Description:
The Market Development Manager is responsible for creating, executing and tracking marketing lead generation campaigns within Aprimo for OptumHealth. The Market Development Manager is focused on creating client interactions that are aligned with best practices, and is responsible for working with marketing managers, product management and sales business unit leaders to plan and execute targeted campaigns to our customers and prospects that drive sales pipeline and revenue. This position will serve as a primary contact for incoming client and prospect inquiries related to OptumHealth marketing initiatives, and will qualify and disposition leads in a timely manner. The position also works closely with other marketing shared services in Events, Creative, and Interactive to create and execute world-class marketing programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support and achieve revenue goals of company through successful lead generation activities
Develop and execute lead generating marketing campaigns for OptumHealth, this includes building customer segmentations, campaign interactions, lead follow-up mechanisms; prospect and client touch points, lead incubation programs, and response and registration forms for marketing activities that directly interface with our customers and prospects
Work closely with marketing management, product management and sales to develop and execute the designated client experience, lead qualification and hand-off program and tracking and reporting of leads through the sales process
Handle inquiries via phone, web, events, etc., qualify inbound and outbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, and ensure appropriate disposition of customer inquiries in a timely manner
Track and monitor follow-up of marketing leads generated and passed to sales team
Establish and implement best practices for lead generating activities for maximum ROI, this includes best practices for webinars, trade shows, wave campaigns, telemarketing campaigns, advertisements, direct mail, Web landing pages, and E-mail campaigns

Qualifications

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree is required
2 years of experience in a corporate environment
Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) experience is required
HTML coding and email marketing experience is preferred
Hosting and producing web conferences or webinars is a plus
Experience with sales automation tools i.e. Siebel, Salesforce, etc. is preferred
Experience with a marketing campaign tool i.e. Aprimo, Unica, or Eloqua a plus
Experience in the health care industry a plus
